We are enormously excited to have teamed up with independent north London ice creamers, Udderlicious, to introduce the macaron ice cream sandwich, aka The ‘Mac Daddy’ to Broadway Market.
Udderlicious is owned and run by husband and wife team, Raj and Raj, and is based on Upper Street in Islington. They’ve got serious ice cream credentials and a selection of flavours that could make even the lactose intolerant among you put a flake in it. It’s the perfect thing to sandwich between a couple of our chewy macaron shells, and chow down on this summer.
At Udderlicious, they’re all about fresh, handmade ice cream; no junk, using only real dairy from proper cows that eat grass. The ice cream is made in store so it’s as fresh as you like. Each month, Udderlicious develop a ‘flavour of the month’ by picking the best suggestions from customers. Previous winners include Apple Pie and Crumble, Peach and Prosecco and recently, Rhubarb and Fig. Nom. They also have our signature flavour, Salted Caramel, which is probably the best thing we’ve ever eaten.
The #MacDaddy is launching on Saturday 31 May 2014 and will be available throughout the summer.
